GG Marmont Mini shoulder bag
Inspired by Gucci's GG belt from the 1970s, designer Alessandro Michele reinvented the metal logo with a contemporary aesthetic and launched the GG Marmont bag collection in 2016. Its fluid silhouette and signature quilting instantly made it Gucci's “new classic,” injecting a craze for logos into the fashion landscape of the time, which was dominated by minimalism.
